I got engaged!
Christmas happened.
I made Earrings.
New Years happened.
I made a necklace.
And Sidney and I became obsessed with a giraffe.
I think that catches us all back up.
Today I decided since I was so successful at my liquid soap making venture I would try yet another thing I learned about while stalking browsing Pinterest.
I made my own powdered laundry detergent! I found the instructions on this blog. I followed the instructions as directed. Morgan, Alex and I took turns grating the soap because that's a tedious process. The first load of laundry is in the washer now, so I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out. But I spent a total of $11.64 on supplies, except the Oxyclean which I already had at home, and that is an optional ingredient anyway. I added it up earlier and we spend about $30-$40 a month on laundry soap. So I'll report in on how long the soap I made lasted, how well it worked, and the total amount of money it saved when I run out.
I'm about to start a new jewelry project. Sort of a charm bracelet for myself. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Thanks for reading!
